JSON-Stat

JSON-Stat provides simple, lightweight representation of tabular data.  It is used by many national statistical agencies for data dissemination.  See www.json-stat.org for further information.   Stat/Transfer provides support for reading only.

Reading JSON-Stat

 

JSON-Stat files allow numerous objects and datasets to be stored in a single file.   Stat/Transfer will return the last object in a file, provided it is a dataset.  This will work for many, but not all JSON-Stat files.

 

 

Missing Values

Blank elements become missing.
